Something Interesting today was when I went to a fast food place. I ordered a burger but I didn't want the bacon on the burger. Then, when the burger came, on the paper that covers the burger was a sticker that read 'special'. For any of you that don't know what that sticker means, it's when you get an order and you ask for the item to be a little different than what most people ask for, so if you get a cheeseburger and you ask for bacon on it, then most likely you will see the special sticker. As I was looking at the sticker I was thinking, how far or crazy does your order have to be that it's not even close to what you asked for?

One day I was really bored and I made this character name Erick. Tell me what you guys think. the story of Erick: Erick was born on November 28, 1999. He has a mother and a father and lives in a nice home in Tempe Arizona. He doesn't mind the heat, he actually thinks its quite nice. He likes to walk around his neighborhood, he never runs around his neighborhood because if he did, he would most likely die from a heat stroke. He has a very nice and caring mother but his father is a different story. Actually, his father is the reason why Erick is always in such a bad mood. Erick and his father are constantly fighting each other. They never get along which is weird because if you would meet both of them they act a lot alike. They both hate the idea of having pets, they think it's just another problem in a home. Erick is not always someone you can really get along with but if you really get to know him, he can be an amazing person and a very good friend. Hopefully, you like

Dear Rick Warren, I am a Santa Maria High School student. I haven't read "The purpose Driven Life", but I look forward to reading it in the future. I believe this story will have some answers to my big question, which is "what is the meaning of life." I feel like if there is so much people on the earth, and some might say we are over populated, then what would make my life so important. When someone dies, life still goes on. So today instead of going to some of my classes I went on a field trip to a college were I checked out a bunch of different jobs that  I might be interested in. One fun thing that I checked out there was the picture of me holding a gun. This was not a loaded gun and the bullets that go in the gun don't shoot bullets that will kill someone. When I was there I also took a tour of the PCPA theatre. They showed us some of the material they use for plays. They were working on beauty and the beast. They showed us the props, costumes, and builds they use in background. This was an awesome experience, the only thing that was wrong was finding our buses. I don't even want to go into that in this post.

I am sorry for not uploading this for sooooo long. I will try to get back into doing this. the song of the day is: The Pug That Couldn't Run by: Loca the pug This is the link to the song. So this song is not an official song. This is just a song that someone put on their YouTube channel about their pug. I really enjoyed this song and it had a very moving finish. In the begging it explains how the pug Loca, could not run and tries and tries but always fails. At the end of the song he explains how the pug Loca just accepts that she will not be able to run, but accepts that no matter what, she loves life and her family loves her too. This made me relate to a time in my English class where my teacher explains how he hates the posters that say "you can do anything in life." Stuff like that but in reality life is not like that. That doesn't mean that you can't do anything, just do your best in life but there is just going to be things you wont be able to do.

This inciting incident is when the cops stop him while he was walking. I think that it was pretty dumb how he was stopped just because he was walking. Although if everyone is in their home watching t.v. and you see someone just randomly walking around I think you might think that something is up.

My mentor for my big question which is "what is the meaning of life". I would have to go with the author Rick Warren, who wrote a book called "The Purpose Driven Life".

I didn't like this song either. I didn't like listening to the song, and I don't even know were to begin to even tell you what the song is about. I'm sorry if one of you out there really loves this song and is screaming at your computer screen stuff like "how could you not like that song!" or "its so obvious to understand!" Just like for the song "Young Love", I liked the lyrics, they were emotional and I cant hate on someone else's own emotions, but I just don't like slow songs. This was another song that was so catchy! I cant stop getting it out of my head. Although this song is really deep, I really loved this song. From what I got from this song was that its about this guy that tried so hard in the relationship and his girlfriend left him. I bet so much people can relate! He also talks about how if she wants to leave him then she can never return to him. There is not much really to say about this song. So for most people that might know me, you would know that I REALLY love WWE, so what I am planning on doing is to not only attract people that love music but also people that may like WWE like I do. What I have in mind is, every time Monday night raw, smack-down live, or any PPV's, I will do a review of all of the matches. This is just something i'm thinking about doing because other than the song of the day, the only other thing I do on this blog is small posts like these and homework, so I want to make this my own blog, and actually get up in morning and start thinking of all the cool stuff to post to my blog.

OK well I guess I should set a time when these are going to come out because last time the song of the day was at like 9:00 and now its like at 7:30. I'm playing with my friends the number game were one person starts with the number one and then a person has to say the next number with out having the next person say the same number. Just some information before I start this new thing. So when ever my friends or just any new people that meet always at some point ask me, "what kind of music do you like", or "what is your favorite singer or band." My answer is always "I don't really like listening to music." I really don't like saying that, one day I want to say, "I like all kinds of songs." Today in class we did two things, one we worked on trying to make are resume. What we did was we thought of three things that we did that we felt proud about. This will go to are resume that Dr.Preston, are teacher, said that at the end of are resume, that it will be as perfect as can be. The next thing we did was called a "Investment portfolio", in this activity we made 4 columns they were labeled, selling, giving, spending, and passing. We had to figure out how much time do we spend, give, sell, or pass. Turns out that I sell more time than i do all of the other columns. So that is what i did today in school.

What do you think Hawthorne's purpose was for writing this story? 1) I think that Hawthorne's purpose for writing this story is to simply tell a story to someone. Also, maybe he has heard the stories of the devil and thought he could make his own story out of it. 2.  Hawthorne states that Brown's wife is "aptly named" Faith.  After reading the story, do you agree?  Does Faith's name fit her personality?  Does Brown have true faith in her? 2)  I agree that Brown's wife has a lot of faith, but not as much in Goodman Brown because she tried as hard as she could to keep him from going on his journey. I also, don't think Brown had faith in faith because even after faith warning him, he still went without even thinking why did she not want him to go on the journey. 3. I didn't really understand the text in Young Goodman Brown. I don't like reading books with words like "thee" and "agone". From what I read Young Goodman Brown and his wife are really faithful and Young Goodman Brown went on a journey that his wife was trying to warn him about. Then later in the story Goodman Brown looses his faith, and gives the world to the Devil.

I found this story to be very interesting. When we hear the word hacker, some of the things that come to mind is bad person, trying to get the easy way out, and one that he uses in the story a lot is criminal, but in this story he made me see that I was always wrong about the hackers. Sometimes we overlook what bad things happen in the real world, and instead we shame the people that are just trying to help or express them self.

In my class we learning that the story "Earth on turtle's back", uses some key ways in talking about the story. It seems like when the author tells the story he wanted the text to be very simple and not difficult to the point were you didn't know what the author was trying to say. In class I learned that this is called, diction. Diction means the words the author uses to tell the story.

"Earth on the turtle's back" was a pretty good short story on how some people believe the earth came to be. Some parts of the story that I found interesting was when the last animal (the muskrat) was so determined to bring the earth from the ground. Also something I found interesting was how they explained why the turtle's back has the shape and pattern that it has. Also how much this story relates to some other spiritual stories like in the bible. This story and the one from the bible both start off with only one thing being in the world. In this short story there is only water to start off, in the bible there is only darkness. So I really enjoyed this reading and hope to read more alike.
